Whatever the project or initiative may be, Four Directions has a track record of success when it comes to bringing people together, engaging them, and getting them actively participating. Both research and our experience have taught us that people support the things they have had a direct hand in creating.

Community & Stakeholder Engagement

Meaningful engagement involves two-way dialogue, understanding that ongoing, respectful conversation is achieved by creating a comfortable atmosphere that lessens the anxiety of members when sticky situations inevitably arise.

This is achieved by

  • promoting a spirit of cooperation among participants;
  • clarifying and communicating roles and expectations of facilitator and participants;
  • soliciting the ongoing input of participants;
  • leveraging participant expertise;
  • establishing behavioral norms; and
  • creating participant synergy and ownership through involvement in agenda design and delivery.
